Scholarships
Students who excel academically are rewarded at St. Ursula.
Each scholarship has specific criteria that a student must meet in order to be considered, such as grade point average, financial need, or attendance at a local Catholic grade school.
Tuition Assistance Program (TAP)
The TAP program, established by the Diocese of Toledo, offers grants to qualified minority students upon application through the St. Ursula Finance Office. This program operates on a sliding scale and is based upon a family’s household income and ability to pay tuition.
SMART Program
To help St. Ursula tuition fit into your family’s monthly budget, SUA participates in the SMART Tuition Management Program. This is an interest-free plan that breaks up the tuition payment into monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual payments that are directly drafted from your bank account beginning in July. A one-time administrative fee of $150 is required along with your application. The deadline for registration for the SMART program is in early May.
SCRIP
Reduce your tuition payments by purchasing certificates through SUA to use at area retailers, such as grocery stores, gas stations, discount stores and entertainment venues. A percentage of each certificate is refunded to reduce your tuition account.
Financial Aid
All applications are screened by an internal committee at St. Ursula and are based upon family need. Financial aid is limited; therefore, it is important to apply by the January 7, 2010 deadline.
Work/Study Program
If your daughter has a strong work ethic and is willing to help defray tuition costs by working at St. Ursula, she can reduce a portion of her tuition expense. Tasks assigned generally include light maintenance work in the classrooms.
